Employ advanced analytics to assess fleet performance metrics, focusing on fuel efficiency, maintenance schedules, and vehicle downtime to drive improvements.
Utilize predictive analytics to forecast fleet needs and optimize fleet size and composition for future requirements.
Data Visualization for Fleet Insights:
Create and manage dynamic dashboards using Power BI to visualize fleet data, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends that inform management decisions.
Ensure these tools are accessible to non-technical stakeholders, providing clear insights into fleet operations and performance.
Operational Efficiency and Cost Reduction:
Analyze fleet operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for cost savings, including vehicle allocation, and fuel consumption analysis.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to implement cost-saving strategies based on data-driven insights.
Maintenance Optimization and Vehicle Lifecycle Management:
Use data analytics to enhance vehicle maintenance planning and lifecycle management, ensuring optimal timing for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and replacements.
Develop models to predict maintenance issues before they occur, reducing unexpected downtime and extending vehicle life.
Develop models to understand vehicle inventory in use, in the pool, and to be replaced.
Compliance Analytics:
Leverage data to monitor and ensure compliance with state, local regulations and safety standards across the fleet.
Fleet Policy and Strategy Development:
Support the development of fleet policies and strategic planning through comprehensive data analysis and trend identification.
Provide analytics support for fleet sustainability initiatives, including electrification and emission reduction efforts.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as a bridge between Procurement’s Fleet Management team and IT, finance, and operational teams, ensuring data insights are integrated into all aspects of fleet operations.
Effectively communicate complex analytical findings to a broad audience, including executive leadership, to inform and influence strategic decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s (preferred) in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, with a strong preference for candidates with additional qualifications or experience in fleet management.
Experience in data analytics and visualization, with a specific focus on fleet operations.
Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and other relevant data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of fleet management processes, including maintenance, compliance, safety, and efficiency optimization.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
