THE JOBWe’re seeking a data-driven and analytical Manager of Research to lead our fan and industry research initiatives. This role will play a vital part in informing our business strategy through insights into fan and customer behavior, as well as identifying trends in venue products and experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of research experience, technical skills, and a strong understanding of the entertainment industry to help drive our business forward.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOFan Segmentation & Customer Insights

Analyze fan demographics, behaviors, and purchase patterns to create detailed fan segments.

Design and execute surveys to better understand and engage our diverse fan base, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience at events.

Survey Design & Execution

Develop and execute surveys to gather critical insights on customer behavior, preferences, and product interests.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (food & beverage, ancillary products, premium experiences) to ensure surveys align with broader business goals.

Industry Research & Benchmarking

Conduct thorough industry research and benchmarking to stay ahead of trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.

Research and identify innovative revenue-generating ideas and opportunities across the entertainment industry.

Identify and monitor key metrics across the live entertainment industry.

Data Analysis

Query and analyze data from multiple sources.

Apply statistical methods and advanced analytics to identify trends, measure customer satisfaction, and understand product preferences.

Insight Generation & Presentations

Transform complex data and research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Present findings in a clear, concise manner to leadership and other stakeholders, influencing decision-making and strategy.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in a research or insights role, preferably within the entertainment or consumer-facing industry.

Technical Skills: Proficient with querying data from data warehouses and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Must have advanced Excel skills.

Research Skills: Strong experience with survey design, implementation, and data interpretation.

Analytical Skills: Ability to perform complex analyses, interpret data trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with strong organizational skills and a passion for the entertainment industry.
