Quality Assurance ManagerMUST HAVE

5-10 years of experience in a FOOD manufacturing environment

Job DescriptionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing guidance to establish and maintain controls, programs, and organizational structures according to Food Safety, Regulatory, customer, and GFSI requirements; overseeing the site quality team, leading and coaching to ensure clear understanding of goals and development of plans; designing, implementing, and verifying testing and procedures; implementing a training program for GFSI requirements and FSQA programs
Acting as a technical expert to all departments with an emphasis on quality and food safety, continuous process improvement, and product development; fostering a food safety culture with continuous improvement and professional growth; serving as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and customers
Developing, implementing, and maintaining FSQA SOPs, Food Safety Plan and HACCP plan, pest control, allergen control, GLP, traceability, recall, and other FSQA programs; overseeing KPI reporting, corrective action plans, analytical and microbiological concerns, and held inventory disposition; providing expertise in CAPA activities
Using data to drive statistical process control (SPC) and implement process capability improvements; managing and providing direction to staff responsible for microbiological and other quality control testing; evaluating and resolving product quality issues; and maintaining all information required for regulatory reviews and reporting.
