Responsibilities cross functional lines with individuals assigned in new program development and/or maintenance of existing Web, API and Client systems. Perform all programming and development assignments without close supervision. Assigned to more complex aspects of systems work. Work directly on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off -shift and weekend support calls. Work independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems. Drive application development focused around delivering business valuable features. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Communicate with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness. Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components that requires careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s, degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field and 5 Years of experience in web application and UI development with JavaScript, RESTful API, HTML 5 and CSS3 or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Modern UI frameworks and libraries such as TypeScript, React, Redux (or Context API), Jest and Webpack; (2) Grafana; (3) AWS; (4) Python; and (5) UI/UX design standards such as Storybook, Web Components, WCAG, etc. Telecommuting: up to 4 days/week.
