We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our Rolling Meadows team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse, including managing UPS parcel orders. This role requires maintaining a safe and organized environment while ensuring the timely and accurate handling of inventory and shipments.
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Rolling Meadows, IL
Key Responsibilities:
Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Properly label and store items in designated locations.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
Manage UPS parcel orders, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.
Prepare and print shipping labels for UPS and other carriers.
Schedule pickups and coordinate shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock replenishment.
Report discrepancies or issues with inventory levels.
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operations.
Assist in training new associates as necessary.
Requirements and Skills:
Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
Familiarity with UPS shipping processes and software is preferred.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems.
Must be able to speak, write, and read English.
