Overview: Are you an experienced professional in strategic sourcing and vendor management? Join our dynamic team as a Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management Specialist at one of our banking clients. This role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing our vendor relationships to ensure alignment with our SSVM Policy and business goals.Key Responsibilities:Vendor Oversight: Manage and oversee vendor relationships across the Bank, ensuring compliance with SSVM policies and alignment with business objectives.Supplier Management: Support and maintain key Strategic Supplier relationships to drive innovation, cost-efficiency, and future requirements, following established supplier relationship management processes.Proposal and Contract Coordination: Assist in the management of requests for proposals, bids, and contract negotiations, providing detailed instructions and continuous communication to the business team.Compliance Guidance: Offer guidance on sourcing and contracting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to business requirements.Performance Reviews: Conduct vendor performance reviews, manage scorecards, and ensure compliance with contract terms and service obligations.Purchase Order and Contract Management: Support the processing and maintenance of purchase orders, contracts, and proposals.Diverse Vendor Certification: Oversee the vendor certification process to ensure accurate status and supporting documentation for diverse vendors.Preferred Staffing Program: Manage the Preferred Staffing program, monitor staffing vendor performance, promote the program within the organization, and handle non-employee access requests.Customer Expectations: Proactively manage both internal and external customer expectations, ensuring high satisfaction.Reporting and Metrics: Assist in developing management reports, tracking critical vendor management metrics, and support periodic risk assessments with stakeholders.Audit Participation: Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and operational integrity.Process Improvement: Assess and recommend operational process improvements to enhance efficiency.Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Strong understanding of vendor management processes and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a proactive approach to managing expectations.Experience with purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance metrics.Ability to manage diverse vendor certification processes and staffing programs.Proficiency in developing and analyzing management reports and key performance indicators.Experience in participating in audits and risk assessments.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
