BCHLASALLE, LLC, a real estate & development company established over 40 years ago is seeking a seasoned experienced on-site residential property manager for a gold coast location in downtown Chicago.
The ideal candidate will be organized; detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of critical thinking. Must have strong leasing skills and a previous track record in managing large non-subsidized multi-unit apartment complexes. A strong history of professional advancement is preferred.
Job Requirements:
Previous successful experience of at least 3 years as a residential property manager of complexes and/or buildings with over 200 units with low vacancies.
Strong experience on how to advertise online in Craigslist, Zillow, Domu, Apartment.com, etc.
Knowledge of how to professionally deal with tenants and how to solve their problems.
Ability to personally show and lease apartments.
Must be able to provide leadership, motivation and direction for the building staff.
Candidate must work flexible hours, including late days with the ability to show apartments between 5-7 PM.
Working ½ day on Saturdays also required.
Job Duties:
Manage and perform leasing activities.
Motivate and work with staff (engineers, door staff, janitors, etc) and supervise contractors.
Maintain the highest possible occupancy.
Run the building at the highest standards in the industry.
Education:
Minimum of a four-year college degree.
