We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and daily receiving and re-stocking of inventory.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for supplements and natural health products. This position is perfect for nursing, naturopathic, nutrition, or other medical students wanting to learn more about how supplements can support health.
Duties
-Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
-Receive inventory and stock shelves daily.
-Communicate effectively with team members.
-Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including inventory management.
-Engage with provided reading/video material and webinars to further knowledge of proper supplement use.
Qualifications
-Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
-Strong desire to learn about supplements, experience preferred.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
-Basic understanding of retail math and use of POS system for accurate transaction processing.
-Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
-A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
-Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and being on their feet for extended periods of time.
-Attendance at monthly staff meetings outside regularly scheduled hours.
Expected hours: 22 per week
