Job Summary:

The Residential HVAC Installer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential homes. This role requires a hands-on technician who can ensure proper installation, efficiency, and functionality while maintaining high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install new residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.

Follow all safety protocols and local HVAC codes during installation.

Perform system start-up, testing, and diagnostics to ensure proper functionality.

Replace, modify, and upgrade existing HVAC systems as needed.

Maintain accurate records of installations and provide customers with detailed operation instructions.

Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, clear communication, and addressing any concerns.

Keep work areas clean and organized, including customer homes.

Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and technologies.

Qualifications:

Required: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Residential HVAC Installer or related field.

EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation and troubleshooting.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Preferred Skills:

NATE Certification or willingness to obtain.

Experience with a variety of HVAC brands and systems.

Knowledge of local HVAC codes and regulations.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Comfortable working in confined spaces, including attics and crawl spaces.

Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
