Job Overview: Reporting to the Home Project Manager, the Handyman Team Lead will supervise a team of skilled contractors and technicians to ensure the successful execution of maintenance and repair projects for luxury homes. This role focuses on overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality workmanship, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Supervise a team of handyman contractors specializing in luxury home maintenance and repair.
● Coordinate daily activities and assign tasks to ensure efficient deployment of resources and adherence to project timelines.
● Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with complex tasks as needed.
● Collaborate closely with the Home Project Manager and home managers to understand project requirements and client expectations.
● Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
● Maintain accurate documentation of project details, including reports, invoices, and client communications.
● Ensure contractors adhere to In House’s standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service.
● Assist in sourcing materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects, optimizing procurement and resource allocation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Proven experience in within the construction, maintenance, or related industry, with exposure to luxury home settings preferred.
● Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in various home maintenance and repair tasks.
● Ability to lead and motivate a team of contractors, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and contractor relationships.
● Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
● Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in luxury home maintenance.
● Proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to home maintenance tasks.
● Associate’s degree, high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
Compensation:
