New England Express is looking for a experienced Driver Recruiter. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified CDL A drivers while ensuring full DOT/FMCSA compliance.
Key responsibilities:
Source and recruit experienced CDL drivers through job boards, social media, and referrals.
Conduct screening interviews.
Coordinate interviews, drug tests, safety checks, and onboarding.
Collect and verify all required documents (CDL, MVR, medical card, work history).
Work closely with Safety and Operations to ensure timely hiring and driver readiness.
Maintain the candidate pipeline and provide regular hiring reports.
Qualifications:
Experience recruiting CDL drivers (Car Haul, flatbed, stepdeck)
Understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
