Small Semi truck repair shop located in Blue Island, IL looking for an experienced, SEMI-TRUCK DIESEL MECHANIC. We have one mechanic only, the shop can only accommodate 2 or max 3 mechanics.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Performs diesel truck repairs and completes all assignments as required.
· Advanced level mechanic requiring no supervision.
· Completes required paperwork, use of software programs to diagnose and repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage. · Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems. · Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
· All other duties as assigned by management. (Included but not limited to: oil changes, tire repairs and replace, brakes repair (drum or disc),etc.)
· Safety is a priority. All rules and regulations must be followed at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depends on experience.
