Description We are seeking a Tax Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in ELGIN, Illinois. This role will play a crucial part in our global organization's tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions. The Tax Analyst will work closely with various levels of the organization and will be responsible for preparing and filing federal, state, and international tax returns. Responsibilities: Prepare and file federal, state, and international tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries. Assist in calculating supporting schedules, including quarterly estimates, depreciation schedules, foreign tax credits, foreign E& P pools, and transfer pricing. Prepare the quarterly and annual documentation of the company's ASC 740 analysis and disclosure requirements for SEC reporting. Work directly with senior tax analysts, tax managers, and vice presidents of tax to ensure tax compliance. Utilize MS Excel to maintain accurate records and perform data analysis. Effectively communicate and present tax information to various levels within the organization. Utilize knowledge of US and International Corporate Tax to ensure proper compliance. Assist in tax planning strategies and reporting functions. Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proven experience in the manufacturing industry as a Tax Analyst or similar role for a minimum of 7 years Comprehensive knowledge of US Tax laws and regulations Understanding of International Tax laws and regulations Extensive experience with Corporate Tax laws and regulations Proficiency in using MS Excel for data analysis and reporting Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be advantageous Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
