AP/AR Group Leader

Description We are in search of an AP/AR Group Leader to manage our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations in ITASCA, Illinois. The AP/AR Group Leader will play a dual role, overseeing daily processing activities for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, while also handling complex transactions. This role involves utilizing tools such as NetSuite and Excel.Responsibilities: Oversee the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Manage and resolve complex financial transactions Utilize and maintain NetSuite for financial recordkeeping and transaction processing Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications Maintain accurate customer credit records Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on account status Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts in a timely and professional manner Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of general ledger entries. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Account Reconciliation Familiarity with General Ledger operations Proficiency in using NetSuite software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Leadership experience in an AP/AR role Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
