Quality Intern

The goal of HydraForce’s ( Bosch Rexroth Company) internship program is to develop future engineering resources for our organization while providing support to our Quality Engineering group (Inspection Labs, SQE, QE and Warranty). We structure the engineering internship to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill-sets unique to our industry. Project tasks reflect an increasing level of technical complexity based on demonstrated proficiency and success on prior assignments. Although there is no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our interns fully capable of stepping into an entry-level engineering position upon graduation. Supporting Job Elements: Assist in continuous improvement projectsDay to day support activities but not limited to inspection, sorting, fixture design, assemblyAssist in measurement system analysis on various gaugesUse tools and techniques from Six Sigma, Lean, to analyze and solve problemsPerform hydraulic testing for failure analysisAssist with valve and/or test stand troubleshootingAssemble/disassemble hydraulic valves and manifolds for failure analysisRead/analyze hydraulic printsAssist Supplier Quality Engineers with reviews of supplier performance data, in evaluation and validation of supplier change requests along with driving improvements in suppliers delivered quality for both new product and existing productsReview returned material and verifies customer complaints through root cause analysisAssist in maintaining the Supplier Corrective action databaseAssist with test data entry and collection, and statistical analysisCreate and modify existing systems that track our metricsCreate, improve on documentation such as control plans, FMEAs, WI, and process flows Majors Desired:Industrial Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringProgram Dates:Tentatively Wednesday, May 28th- Friday, August 1.The  Internship will be for approximately 10 weeks.  The candidates MUST be able to commit to this time frame
