This consists of collecting samples for the labs to analyze. You will be responsible for your work area, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will work rotating shifts that will include days, nights, weekends and holidays.You will be working at Honeywell UOP Research & Development center in McCook, IL. Pilot plants at UOP are bench scale assemblies of high-pressure equipment where experiments are conducted for the purpose of catalyst and process development for the Refinery and Petrochemical industries.The annual base salary range for this position is $45,500-$56,800. Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) which includes some weekends and holidays
Basic math and computer skills
Able to lift, handle, and dispense 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums
Handling of chemicals and other hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals is required
Good written and oral communication skills
Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills
Working safely at all times
Familiar with using basic hand tools
