Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced public accountant who is looking to make the move to industry. In this role, you'll perform a variety of tasks such as preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures, coordinating with corporate functions, conducting compliance research, and more. Ideal candidates have proficiency in analyzing documentation, collaborating with various departments, and serving as a subject-matter expert. Requirements Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. A strong background in Public Accounting Audit is necessary for this position. The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required. Proven experience in managing accounting teams or departments is a plus. The applicant should have a comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are needed for this role. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and interaction with clients. The ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is required. The applicant must have the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the healthcare industry regulations. Knowledge of financial forecasting and risk analysis is desirable. The candidate should have a strong ethical framework and unquestionable integrity. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required. Experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry is a plus. The candidate should have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Proven experience in budget preparation and fiscal management is required. The applicant should have the ability to lead and motivate team members. The candidate should be able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
