Description Hybrid-We are offering a newly created opportunity for a Senior Accounting Manager in Carmel, Indiana. The role involves overseeing various accounting related tasks within our organization. This position will primarily focus on the management of senior accountants and AR managers, the implementation of US GAAP regulations, and the utilization of Netsuite. As a CPA, you will also be required to handle month-end closing and fixed assets management.Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the activities of senior accountants and AR managers Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Manage and maintain the organization's fixed assets Ensure compliance with US GAAP across all accounting operations Utilize Netsuite for various accounting functions Hold the CPA designation and apply related knowledge in all accounting tasks Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures Collaborate with other teams to streamline accounting processes Monitor the financial performance of the company and provide reports to senior management Identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving measuresTroy CohoonRequirements Position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant leadership experience in the field of accounting or finance. Applicant must have proven expertise in Month End Close procedures. Proficiency in US GAAP is essential. Experience with the NetSuite financial software system is preferred. Understanding and managing Fixed Assets is a key aspect of the role. Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required. Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise a team are necessary. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work is essential. Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis is necessary.
