Amentum is currently searching for a Computer Engineer to support Anti-Tamper microelectronic assessments, technology development and Anti-Tamper implementation for multiple programs. The position will support NSWC Crane's Trusted Microelectronics Division and their various Navy and Air Force customers.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop software for embedded microelectronics (ARM, RISC-V, others) in a team environment to aid in the assessment of microelectronics. Use of revision control software is required.
Develop software (CPU) in a team environment to aid in the assessment of microelectronics. Use of revision control software is required.
Develop test/debug software
Conduct statistical analysis of data from testing efforts.
Assist the Electrical Engineer with the setup and operation of microelectronic devices
Identify new testing methodologies
Assist with electrical/electronic technology assessment efforts
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 0-5 years of experience
Knowledge and understanding of software programming including C/C, Python, Perl, and MATLAB
Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Data Analysis (statistics)
Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment including Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers, Filters,
Knowledge and lab experience with microelectronics (microcontrollers, FPGAs)
Ability to support technical design reviews
Knowledge and understanding of parallel programming issues (race conditions, livelocks/deadlocks, shared memory, memory ordering, etc.) and experience with pthreads and/or MPI libraries is preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Please note that US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge and understanding on LabVIEW and VHDL/Verilog
