Staff/Sr. Accountant

Description We are in the search for a Staff/Sr. Accountant to join our team in the logistics industry, located in the greater the Fort Wayne area. This role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, working in compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Key responsibilities: Performing bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Taking an active role in billing, payroll, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Overseeing fixed assets and utilizing accounting software to manage financial transactions. Assisting in budgeting processes by providing insights and analysis based on historical data. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance. Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Variance Analysis, and Budgeting - Forecasting.Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required. Knowledge of General Ledger operations is essential. Experience with Month End Close processes is necessary.
