Job SummaryThis position is responsible for clerical and team member support. The incumbent in this position utilizes standard operating policies and procedures that controls most of their actions. Deliver exceptional customer service via various channels (in-person, phone, email).

Serve as the primary office receptionist and handle incoming/outgoing communication.

Monitor general email and voice messages.

Schedules appointments and meetings for team members

Coordinate internal communications and facilitate distribution.

Assist in preparing policy and procedure manuals.

Optimize departmental resources through expertise.

Update and manage specific databases efficiently.

Maintain systematic plans and records for programs/projects.

Keep the agency informed of relevant updates and changes.

Welcome new hires and assist in facilitating their onboarding process effectively.

Serves as backup to the MDC Secretary.

Takes minutes at meetings, when requested

Demonstrate efficient multitasking and deadline management skills.

Must maintain confidentiality at all times.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent with one (1) years of general office experience. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to use word processing software and write clear and concise minutes. Must have good organizational skills and be detail oriented.Preferred Job Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of general office experience.
