Job DescriptionAssociates in this department will be on the very front end of the manufacturing process, preparing sheet metal parts for assembly down the line.Sheet metal will have outlines cut into it, and the associate will 'punch out' the metal parts and stack them in the correct piles to take to another department. Picture disassembling a very large puzzle. Employees will be standing in one spot doing the same job repetitively for 10 hours/day. They will then have their workbench and, one by one, make the drill holes, insert nuts, and then place the finished part on a pallet for material handlers to take over to the assembly area.
