OverviewCHI Health Clinic is actively seeking a full-time OB/GYN to join our established practice in Council Bluffs , Iowa . Based at the Valley View Clinic and CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs Hospital , this is an exciting opportunity to join an established, robust practice.Details of the position:

Busy practice with existing patient panel available

Growing team of 2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers

Call 1:6+ Average of 21-24 patient visits per day, per provider

Average of 10 Deliveries per month, per provider

In-office Ultrasound, NST, and Colposcopy available

LEEP is available inpatient only

Provide full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care for women of all ages

EPIC

Integrated clinic model partnering closely with primary care, diabetic education, psych, physical therapy, and pharmacy

Works closely with women’s subspecialties Maternal Fetal Medicine and Urogynecology

Available opportunities for outreach in Southwest Iowa

Involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education

Opportunity for Academic Appointment with Creighton University

Requirements of the position:

Must be BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Ability to obtain an Iowa and Nebraska License

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Patient Care:

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

Compliance:

Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty

A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
