Essential duties/responsibilities:
Lead costing initiatives including product and process costing, cost-benefit analyses, payback models, and project justifications.
Partner with operations, finance, and quality teams toidentifyand implement cost-reduction opportunities across labor, materials, overhead, and capital investment.
Maintain and improve cost/time estimating equations and manufacturing routings
Support Estimating with specialquotingfor new and unique products.
Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and production balancing tovalidatestandards, improve accuracy, andoptimizethroughput.
Support automation and capital equipment projects from evaluation through implementation, ensuring financial and productivity targets are achieved.
Develop andmaintainstandard work, work instructions, and performance metrics to drive process stability and scalability.
Provide technical support for new and existing products to ensure cost-effective manufacturability and smooth production transitions.
Analyze data and prepare reports to summarize costs, performance trends, and improvement opportunities.
Mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Travel domestically and internationally asrequired.
