Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:Performs journeyman level work in the alteration and repair of electrical wiring and equipment in the hospital.· In conformance with the city electrical code, repairs and reforms preventative maintenance on a wide variety of electrical systems, patient bedside equipment, carts, light fixtures, appliance and equipment.· Makes repairs by removing, replacing or insulating defective wiring and controls. Locates broken or worn parts through inspection, observation, and the use of a variety of test instrument.· Tests installed equipment and wiring upon completion.· Follows blue prints and equipment literature for repairing of conduit or wiring.· Troubleshoots fire alarm systems, heating equipment, elevators, and communications systems. Medical equipment and other electrical system.· Minor plumbing repairs.· Computer/ data entry knowledge· Assist contractors in obtaining information needed for construction projects.· Assist other maintenance areas when requested· Ability to performed required duties at any Mercy Medical Center facility.· Other duties as assigned by management.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionTrinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
