Business Analyst - Derivatives Trading

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst specializing in Derivatives Trading, based in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. The role will be centered around the finance and IT industry, with a focus on business analysis, product ownership, and derivatives trading and operations.Responsibilities: Analyze business processes related to trading and derivatives Implement agile methodology for project management Interact with stakeholders to manage their diverse needs Use Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Word to create Business Requirement Documents Use systems like Bloomberg and other similar platforms for various operations Ensure the integration of systems, data, and business processes between corporate functions in investments, risk, operations, and finance Evaluate the business value related to features and functions Use ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes for data management Oversee risk oversight processes Employ Agile operations and Agile product management strategies for efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Business Analysis, specifically in Derivatives Trading and Operations Proficient in Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Word Demonstrated experience in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents Extensive knowledge and practical experience in Derivatives Trading and Derivatives Operations Proven expertise in Business Analysis Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Agile Operations, and Agile Product Management Hands-on experience with Bloomberg Experience in Product Ownership roles is desirable Knowledge of ETL - Extract Transform Load processes Demonstrated skill in Risk Oversight Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Must possess a high level of integrity and reliability Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
