Description We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant on a contract to hire basis. The primary focus of this role will be to assist with month-end close and reconciliations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain significant accounting experience and be a key part of our client's financial data and reporting integrity.Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine accounting tasks including ledger maintenance, coordination of payments, and preparation of financial reports.
Utilize Excel and other MS Office tools to create spreadsheets, manage data, and perform complex calculations.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize duties, and effectively manage time.
Maintain a highly organized workspace and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
Delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external audiences.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Prior experience in front office management or receptionist duties is desirable.
A background in customer service roles is a plus.
