Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Baldwin City, Kansas, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ranging from general ledger management to cost/inventory analysis/accounting. This is a fantastic role with a growing organization.Responsibilities: Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of journal entries Conduct month-end close procedures with precision Manage and reconcile bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy Apply knowledge of accounting principles in daily tasks Prepare and analyze budgeting reports Oversee cost accounting activities to ensure accuracy and consistency Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date Review and rectify discrepancies in financial documents and reports.Requirements Proficiency or ability to learn Cost Accounting Strong understanding of Accounting Principles Experience with Tax Reporting Ability to manage Month End Close procedures Demonstrated skills in reconciling Bank Accounts Familiarity with maintaining and managing General Ledger Experience in creating and posting Journal Entries Proven skills in Budgeting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
