Description:
Work with Warehouse staff to ensure Good Receipts are input in ERP system correctly (correct Purchase Order application)
Work with cross functions to validate invoices before payments
Enter invoices into the SAP by Design system within 24 hours of receipt of invoice while maintaining a high attention to detail to ensure accurate posting to the general ledger
Post and apply payments to vendor ledgers within 24 hours of communication from corporate office
Manage supplier prepayments and follow up with suppliers upon receipt to clear proforma invoices with a final bill
Perform weekly review of the aged payables report to ensure accuracy and proper application of payments/credit memos
Accurately reviews sales and use tax on invoices when applicable to ensure proper charge of tax and filing quarterly sales and use tax returns
Prepare month end AP Accrue
Skills:Accounts payable, purchase order, reconciliation, General ledger, accounting, excel, Accruals, sapQualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
5+ years experience in Accounts Payable
Attention to Detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Microsoft Office experience
SAP By Design experience a plus
