Description A client of ours, rapidly growing public accounting firm, that provides top-notch tax services to a diverse range of clients. We are currently looking for a talented and highly skilled Public Tax Accountant who is proficient in QuickBooks to join our dedicated team. If you are passionate about tax accounting and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you! Job Responsibilities: Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, and other entities. Review financial records, income statements, and expenditure documents to ensure their accuracy and adherence to the tax laws. Utilize QuickBooks for ledger maintenance, financial calculations, and report generation. Ensure that all accounting transactions are correctly recorded in QuickBooks. Provide expert tax advice to clients based on their current financial situation and future goals. Work closely with the team to identify tax strategies and solutions that will minimize the clients' tax liabilities. Keep up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and guidelines to maintain our operations' legality and propriety. Develop exceptional relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing engagements. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or CPA designation will be highly regarded. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in public tax accounting. Extensive experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft-Excel is required. Excellent knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and laws. Exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain client confidentiality. Strong attention to detail, with demonstrable analytical and organizational skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
