SUMMARYThe Robert Bosch Corporation realizes the mutual benefit of developing Engineering students over several work terms. Therefore, we are seeking to hire students who wish to work three or more terms at the Florence manufacturing facility. At the Florence, KY facility, Bosch designs and produces automotive steering components and systems sold to vehicle OEMs throughout North America.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following.Works in accordance with safety regulations and procedures at all times (LOTO, Confined Spaces, Hazardous Material Handling procedures, etc.)Participates in root cause problem solving & troubleshooting issueUnder direct supervision - assists with preventative, predictive and proactive maintenancePerform minor ground support equipment maintenance and inspectionsCommunicate and work effectively through specific task assignmentAnalysis and decision-making responsibility for specific problems or topicsWorks cross-functionally with production/maintenance/engineering staff to provide effective maintenance supportIdentifies and shares with Leadership potential cost savings and cost avoidance measuresBuild an understanding of line downtime caused by equipment issues, and propose solutionsWork effectively with outside vendors and internal staff to ensure replacement parts are on handAdditional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor
