This is to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule, and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing plants.What You’ll Be Doing
Develop criteria (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil/structural, etc.) for the design of buildings.
Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing plants in building design and construction, including the development and maintenance of building-related standards.
Act as subject matter expert for industrial buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site and for submittals during project management.
Provide experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule, and safety KPIs.
Mentor engineers, construction coordinators, and other project personnel to increase their skillset in industrial construction.
Create customer satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with the customer to support their needs.
What You Bring
Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Experience in building design and construction
Experience in industrial buildings and building related systems
Leadership, mentorship, or management experience
Strong experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work up to 20% overtime when
Ability to travel up to 75% (based on project need) when required (US, Canada, and Mexico)
Added Bonus If You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Chemical (yes/no)
Professional Engineering (PE) License or Registered Architect (RA) (yes/no) – text)
Experience in industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.) (yes/no-text)
Experience in project management of industrial construction projects with a value of $20M+ Experience in industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher)
Experience in industrial structural steel systems
Experience in large-scale civil installations
