Account Representative – Large GroupLocation: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health Pulse Point locations in either Louisville or Lexington, KY.The Account Representative is responsible for supporting strategic sales and account associates in growing and retaining existing accounts within Large Group.How you will make an impact:

Acts as a partner to build external relationships with existing clients, members, and brokers.

Works with sales and account associates to develop an understanding of client needs and priorities.

With general supervision, manages routine sales, claims, and benefits issues by researching, resolving, and responding to clients, members, and brokers.

Conducts meetings with clients and members to educate and drive opportunities for additional growth and product sales.

Communicate with internal partners to assist with upsells and resolve service escalations.

Coordinates with sales support on request for proposal (“RFP”) responses to brokers and groups.

Maintains various system updates for proposal and sales activity as necessary.

Acts as a collaborative partner with internal stakeholders to meet and exceed client expectations. Supports internal and external client reporting, as needed.

Acts on behalf of strategic account associates to respond to client needs, as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

A sales license is required to be obtained and appointed within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities:

Proven ability to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced and high-demand environment is strongly preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams preferred.

The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively is preferred.

Experience in supporting internal and external client reporting is preferred.

A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset is strongly preferred.
