Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the service industry located in LEXINGTON, Kentucky, 40511-8514, United States. This role involves handling Business to Business collections through email and calls, providing customer service, and navigating multiple systems. Responsibilities: Performing Business to Business collections via email and phone calls Delivering quality customer service to resolve inquiries and issues Navigating through multiple systems efficiently Utilizing basic Excel for data management and processing Managing and updating customer accounts on a regular basis Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Handling cash applications related to Accounts Receivable (AR) Conducting regular monitoring and taking appropriate action on customer accounts Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Collections - Commercial. Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Experience in Cash Applications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and collections-specific software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest degree of professional standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong ethics and integrity.
