Job Title: Material HandlerWeekly Pay $18-$19 an hour Louisville, KYJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated Material Handler. The ideal candidate would have experience with cherry picking, reach trucks, or forklifts; however, training is available for those who are willing to learn. Warehouse experience is advantageous. You must be willing to train on an order picker (cherry picker) and be comfortable with heights. Until training is complete, duties may include hand picking, packing, or working in the shipping area. Once trained, responsibilities will focus on operating the cherry picker and picking products for shipping while meeting the required picking rates.Responsibilities
Operate cherry picker and pick products for shipping.
Hand pick, pack, or work in the shipping area until trained on equipment.
Meet the picking rates required.
Utilize RF scanning for inventory management.
Maintain the warehouse area in an organized and clean manner.
Essential Skills
Picking and packing experience.
Experience with cherry picking, reach trucks, or forklifts (preferred).
RF scanning knowledge.
Ability to work at heights.
High school diploma or GED.

It is not climate-controlled, so it can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. Shorts and tank tops are acceptable attire. The pace is manageable, but meeting established goals is important. Be prepared to work overtime as needed. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shifts at 7am, 8am, and 10am; 2nd shift from 1:30 PM to 10 PM. Trainers wear light blue shirts and leads wear dark blue shirts.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
