What You Get To Do: The Program Supervisor provides supervision of Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff and is responsible for the coordination, management and daily operations within one Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Baton Rouge. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of 7 Direct Support ProfessionalsStaff schedulingCoordination of medical appointments for individuals supported in the programMonitoring inventory of the home’s groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularlyTracking and documentation of receipts and expendituresEnsuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentationEnsuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehiclesRegular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within homeProvide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travelEnsuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible.
