DESCRIPTION$5,000-$10k Sign on BonusWe are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our Distribution Business in Bossier, LA.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:-Completing repair activities on generators or components.-Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.-Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.-Maintain detailed records of service.-Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.-Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.-Maintain own tools.In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:-Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.-High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.-Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.(Entry):-Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.-Basic Diesel Engine experience.-Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.(Intermediate):-Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.-Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch.-Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.(Advanced):-Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.-Understanding switchgear schematics.-Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians.-Seeking Intermediate to Advanced Technician.
A current valid license is required for this role.
