Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper for our client based in Prairieville, Louisiana. The role involves comprehensive management of financial records, including account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for the organization Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure accuracy Oversee both accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform bank reconciliations to confirm all financial transactions are accounted for Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to maintain records and create reports Perform data entry tasks for financial records and business transactions Assist with the preparation of month-end close procedures Oversee the payroll process to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time Maintain confidentiality of all financial data Continuously improve knowledge and skills in bookkeeping and related areasRequirements Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliations accurately Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) management Experience with bank reconciliations and bookkeeping Proficient in data entry tasks and Microsoft Excel Ability to handle month-end close procedures effectively Experience in payroll processing and management Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team Must have a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
