Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Baltimore, Maryland. The role is within the local government sector where you will be a vital part of our team, primarily responsible for processing and maintaining accurate records of customer applications. Your work will be carried out at various locations within the city. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer applications in a timely manner. Maintain precise records of customer credit applications. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Work across various locations within the city. Maintain an excellent performance and attendance record. Utilize strong data entry and communication skills in daily tasks. Adhere to the timings of 8:30-4:15 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Work in accordance with the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program guidelines. Utilize skills in 'Data Entry', 'WICSIS', and 'Health Care'. Use personal transportation to commute to different work locations. Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role. Proficiency in Data Entry is essential. Knowledge and experience in using WICSIS software is required. A background in Health Care is highly advantageous. The ability to work well in a Local Government environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make quick, informed decisions. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various department members and the public effectively. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new processes and software systems. Understanding of the Local Government operations and administrative procedures would be an advantage.
