Small assisted living home in Columbia, Maryland desires a responsible person for assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for senior residents. We are licensed for nine residents; however, current census is six residents. Previous experience will be evaluated. Duties will include personal care, medication administration (may provide training), cleaning, and light meal preparation. This is a part-time position; at this time three hours weekday mornings; (6:30-9:30) flexible hours may be required. Hours may be increased as resident census increases. Older adults are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with seniors; will be considerate, empathetic, dependable and trustworthy.
A CJIS criminal background check is required. CPR/first aid training will be furnished. Must have reliable transportation to and from the home.
