LASER WELDER
Join a 102 year old company at our manufacturing facility in Essex Baltimore, MD! Our indoor facility offers an excellent work place environment. We are currently seeking a skilled Laser Welder to become a part of our team. The Production Welder position performs all tasks involved in the production of the Company’s products using a Laser, MIG or TIG machine. This includes setup and fixturing.
Ideal candidate will be experienced with Laser, MIG & TIG welding processes and the use of fixtures to perform welding operations. Any certifications and/or training documents relevant to this position will be taken into consideration.
This person may also be asked to operate additional machines such as CNC, laser machines, and presses and assist with product assembly when welding is not required. Any necessary training would be provided.
Essential Functions:
· Have knowledge and experience with Laser, TIG and MIG welding processes
· Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure they meet required standards and notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
· Familiar with all forms of grinding and finishing of welds as required and pay attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
· Start up, stop, and setup the welding equipment
· Grinding welded parts as needed
· Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
· Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
· Other manufacturing tasks as needed
· Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and maintain a safe working environment.
Pay: From $21-$24 per hour
