We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Form Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, and dismantling the temporary formwork systems that shape and support concrete pours.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Read and Interpret Plans: Study blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project layout, dimensions, shape, and materials required.
Construct Formwork: Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, plywood, metal, etc.) to precise measurements using a variety of hand and power tools to build forms.
Assemble and Install: Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, bolts, screws, and anchor rods. Erect and brace form systems to ensure they are level, plumb, square, and capable of withstanding the pressure of wet concrete.
Install Reinforcements: Incorporate reinforcing materials such as rebar and wire mesh into the formwork as specified by project plans.
