Job description
The Engineer will assist with maintaining the association's maintenance operations to the highest standards, including performing service functions for the building and residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the overall maintenance of the property, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
Inspect the site daily to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
Ensure work orders are completed in a timely and thoroughly.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices (OSHA) on site.
Assist with conducting preventative maintenance work and follow-ups on maintenance and repair work.
Assist with creating a preventative maintenance program for all building systems.
Assist with plumbing repairs such as replacing faucets or washers, repairing toilet flushing devices, clearing clogged drains, and tightening leaking pipe joints.
Assist with preventative maintenance on fan coil units and other facility equipment.
Learns the location of all riser shut-off valves.
Maintains all pavements, including sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and parking areas, including power washing and snow and ice control.
Provide property coverage and respond to emergency calls.

REQUIREMENTS:
Highly effective interpersonal, strong customer service, and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
HVAC or other training or certification is REQUIRED.
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience working in a condominium
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry trades, including painting.
Must be able to operate tools and equipment related to facility maintenance, including a scissor lift.
Must be able to work set 8-hour days
Must be able to rotate the on-call schedule with other maintenance employees
