Moore National Facility Service (MNFS) is hiring Preventive Maintenance Technicians to service family housing units on two military bases in Maryland. This is 1099 independent contractor work — flexible schedule, simple tasks, and high earning potential. PAY STRUCTURE
$50 per completed unit
Homes average 1,250 sq. ft.
Example:
10 units/day = $500/day
3 days/week = $1,500/week
Paid weekly.
ABOUT THE WORK
This is preventive maintenance only — NOT major repairs.
Perfect for handymen, maintenance techs, HVAC/plumbing assistants, or skilled students.
Typical Tasks Include:
Replacing one HVAC filter (provided)
Light bulb replacement
Changing cracked/damaged light covers
Replacing fire alarms/smoke detectors if needed (provided)
Light coil cleaning using a mini vacuum
Testing CO₂/smoke detectors
Testing GFCI outlets
Basic safety checks, basic appliance checks
Tightening small hose/pipe connections (no heavy plumbing)
IMPORTANT
All parts are provided
No major repairs — if something requires true repair work, you simply document it
Must take clear photos, follow the checklist, and fill out notes in the client system
High professionalism required — this is active military housing
SCHEDULE
Minimum 1 day per week
You choose your days: Monday–Friday
Weekends available depending on workload

REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to pass a background check (military requirement)
Ideally, an applicant should have:
Basic tool set
Small ladder
Mini vacuum
CO₂/smoke detector tester
Temperature reader
Reliable vehicle
Smartphone (for photos & checklist entries)
Must carry general liability insurance (typical policies $25–$50/month)
