Clinical Data Management Supervisor

Agile Decision Sciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Clinical Data Management Supervisor that will serve as a functional expert in clinical data management and supervise staff across multiple research teams.

Develop CDM processes and procedures; train and supervise subordinate staff; oversee quality assurance/quality control at the team level; and serve as a liaison between research teams and Project Management.

Provide daily supervisory oversight of Senior Clinical Data Managers, Clinical Data Managers, and Clinical Data Entry Specialists.

Organize and evaluate staff, including completion of performance evaluations.

Conduct orientation training for newly hired CDM staff and mentoring of existing staff.

Recommend and assist in the development of new professional development and training activities.

Evaluate research team needs and coordinate activities to enhance CDM performance.

Develop and maintain team-specific CDM methods and SOPs for data entry, data abstraction, data validation, and reporting and analysis.

Coordinate and ensure data entry and data verification/comparisons are completed in accordance with data entry instructions.

Oversee QA at data entry level.

Coordinate and ensure CRFs are processed, logged, and tracked in accordance with CRF processing instructions.

Mandate rework or institute corrective actions as necessary to resolve data quality or schedule compliance issues.Assist in audit and monitoring activities.

Direct staff in specific tasks surrounding auditing and monitoring activities.

Monitor and ensure CDM staff adherence to data submission timeliness, audit schedules, and other milestones.

Document and resolve data quality problems in conjunction with research team members and QA staff.

Assist in the maintenance of study files and documentation.

Bachelor's degree (preferably a scientific or clinical degree) or nursing qualification with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Five (5+) years' experience in all aspects of clinical data management, including development of data collection methods and systems.

Five (5+) years' comprehensive understanding of clinical drug development process

Have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

Prior supervisory experience

Clinical or medical knowledge in oncology research

MD, RN, MBA or MS with ongoing accreditation and certifications (ie CCRP)
