Project Architect

AECOM is seeking a Project Architect for our Hunt Valley, Maryland, Building + Places team to work on interesting and challenging projects for a variety of clients. This position is hybrid.The Project Architect will be responsible for the following: Provide technical leadership as a senior architect, working with architects and engineers across various AECOM offices and with AECOM’s subconsultants.Develop and oversee architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details, etc.) and specifications. Be responsible for quality approvals.Work with Project Managers and Discipline Leads to define scope and work plans for design proposals and additional service requests as required.Carry through construction administration, from Construction NTP to Close-out.Build strong relationships and interactions with clients, consultants, project management, and other stakeholders.Mentor mid-level and junior-level architectural designers to develop quality documents.Become actively involved in related organizations at the leadership level, promoting AECOM goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability.
