What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a certified or highly experienced groomer with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced: Minimum of 2 years of professional dog grooming experience (salon or mobile setting).
Skilled: Proficient in a variety of breed-specific cuts, standard clips, hand scissoring, de-shedding treatments, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. Must be able to groom dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and effectively.
Compassionate: Possesses a genuine love for animals and uses gentle, stress-free handling techniques.
Professional: Reliable, organized, able to manage time efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills for consulting with pet owners regarding their grooming requests and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of dog grooming, from bathing and brushing to finishing cuts, based on client requests and breed standards.
Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs and discuss any specific health or behavioral concerns.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and notes regarding the pet's temperament.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in our care.
Assist with general salon cleanliness and upkeep.
