I am looking for a reliable Construction Manager / Project Coordinator to oversee a nail salon “tenant improvement” build-out in Plaistow, NH. This is not a request for a full General Contractor. I already have the trades — framer, plumber, electrician, and HVAC technician — and need someone to manage coordination, scheduling, problem-solving, and communication.
The ideal candidate has experience with small commercial projects such as salons, barbershops, restaurants, or retail spaces.
Responsibilities
Coordinate framer + plumbing + electrical + HVAC sequence
Manage onsite walkthroughs and daily/weekly trade communication
Verify measurements, clearances, wall/floor penetrations, and framing needs
Identify conflicts between trades and resolve them quickly
Keep project on schedule and maintain updated task lists
Oversee rough-ins and prepare for town inspections
Provide owner with short progress updates
Requirements
Experience with commercial tenant fit-outs (nail salons a plus)
Knowledge of basic MEP sequencing and construction methods
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to be onsite as needed during rough-in weeks
Familiarity with NH building codes preferred
