I am a physicist (astroparticle physics) with extensive (15 years) teaching and tutoring experience. I have had students ranging from middle school to advanced graduate levels. Hourly rate depends on subject matter, between 80for younger students/simpler topics-max 140$/hour for most complicated and specialized subjects/needs.
Passionate about science, I bring my enthusiasm, patience, and intuition to each tutoring job. I am especially known for being able to explain complicated or conceptually tough topics in personalized intuitive ways that really reach my students, and for getting to know them and their learning style. I genuinely love to teach and really enjoy working with students 1-1 or in small groups, and getting them to that "aha!" moment of understanding and mastery!
