The successful candidate will have a strong hands-on experience in bio-assay including but not limiting to molecular endpoints, biochemistry assay, bioanalytical assay and formulation characterization, etc.  The candidates shall also be analytically minded, systematic, and embrace data-driven decision making. The scientist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the client organization to perform experiments to aid development of nanomedicine candidates and non-virus delivery platform for the next generation of Genetic Medicine.Key Responsibilities:Work with project team to design and execute bioanalytical assay to support preclinical characterization of nanomedicine (e.g. in vitro potency assessment, ligand-receptor binding assessment, etc.).Develop and execute molecular endpoint assay to support in vitro or in vivo assessment of nanomedicine (e.g. Tissue processing, DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc.)Lipid nanoparticle formulation and characterization (e.g. Buffer exchange, Ribogreen assay, DLS, HPLC, etc.)General laboratory assistance, including ordering and receiving lab supplies, preparation of reagents, and maintaining laboratory equipmentAssist in troubleshooting technical challenges and provide scientific and technical input to project teamsSupport workflow automation and optimization.Help design and complete experiments, perform data analysis and present results.Accurate recording of all practical work: completion of electronic notebook while maintaining procedure quality standards
